A luxuriously fragrant full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with fruit-forward aromas complemented by touches of Chalk Hill terroir. This deep purple wine boasts notes of black cherry juice, berry compote and graphite on the nose. These delicious elements carry through to the palate with hints of current balanced by purple florals and a lingering of dark chocolate shavings within structured tannins on the finish.

Tasting Notes
A luxuriously fragrant full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with fruit forward aromas complemented by touches of Chalk Hill terroir. This deeply purple wine boasts notes of black cherry juice, berry compote and graphite on the nose. These delicious elements carry through to the palate with hints of current balanced by purple florals and a lingering of dark chocolate shavings within structured tannins on the finish.
Vineyard Notes
The summit of Notre Vue Estate is blessed with rocky, volcanic soils that drain quickly and that produce small, more intensely flavored and colored berries without aggressive canopies (leaves). Reaching above 1,000 feet in elevation, these blocks have excellent sun exposure. Afternoon temperatures are moderated by the cooling Pacific breezes out of the Russian River Valley. This rich fruit is used to craft Balverne wines.

I visited Notre Vue with my family in July. This was one of the bottles I smuggled home in my luggage! ;) A hearty, full bodied Cab that is so easy to sip. I have a smile on my face as I pour another glass! I can’t wait to visit again.
